Josh has spent his life living on a farm and giving back to his community.  During his youth, he was involved in volunteering at a local veterinarian clinic and was a Cadet in United States Air Force Auxiliary Civil Air Patrol for several years, which included being selected for the Illinois Wing Drill Team, as well as represented the Great Lakes Regional Drill Team in CAP’s National Drill Team Competition.

He went on to college, where he obtained a Bachelor of Science and completed Air Force ROTC as a special student, opting not to commission.  Upon graduation from college, Josh spent the next 15 years working at a local Sheriff’s Office in a variety of capacities, culminating in a successful campaign for Sheriff in 2018.  Josh held this position until he retired from the law enforcement profession.

Kaitlin comes from a family of farmers, with her grandpa and brothers all being heavily involved in farming operations.  She has spent the last 14 years working in law enforcement in a variety of capacities, providing safety and security to her fellow citizens.  She has organized fundraising events for canines, given demonstrations and education to area youth, and developed and implemented recovery programs for persons suffering from substance use disorder that are incarcerated at the local level.

Josh & Kaitlin have always believed in giving back to their community, as they feel every person is special and has the potential to become the next President, find a cure for cancer, or do a variety of other amazing things.  Their hope has always been to give back to their fellow human being and provide them with safety and security so they can continue to thrive.  This new chapter in their life will allow them to provide housing that will last multiple lifetimes, so each person can raise a family in a healthy home, with the safety and security of knowing the home can withstand natural disasters in a way current homes fail.
