Founded in 2025, I Grow Homes is new to building homes, but homes being built from hempcrete isn't new. We are a family operated business that believes in healthy living, sustainability, and service to others.

Joshua has spent his life living on a farm and farming since he was young. After graduating college, he spent over 15 years in public service while maintaining a farming operation. He has managed over 30 employees, and budgets over $2 million during his career. Now, he brings this experience and his commitment to serve to his clients.

Kaitlin brings years of experience completing home remodels and creating unique custom projects ranging from a "she-shack", to an eco-greenhouse using recycled building material, to bathroom remodels using sustainable material,
such as Hempwool.
How We Got Here
We are a farm family that recently discovered industrial hemp and all of the benefits that come from the plant; the most intriguing to us being hempcrete.
Did you know that hempcrete is fire resistant, mold resistant, vermin resistant, contains no VOCs, self-regulates the internal temperature and humidity of the home, has sound dampening properties, and is wonderful for allergy sufferers!?
Having lived on a farm for a lifetime, taking care of our land is our utmost priority. Knowing that growing industrial hemp allows us to use all of the plant, leaving minimal waste and actually capturing more carbon than we expel insures we are continuing to be good stewards of the environment.
Our interest in building out of hempcrete came initially from YouTube. We got to see a variety of benefits and knew we had to explore this more. We began our research and eventually discovered the U.S. Hemp Builders Association. After joining, we began getting updates on hempcrete workshops and the rest was history!
